Meera's Closet Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures and timelines for delivery. At Meera's Closet, we take pride in our handpicked ethnic collections and aim to ensure that your chosen garments reach you in pristine condition and as quickly as possible.

1. Processing and Handling Time

  • Order Verification: All orders undergo a 1-day verification process to ensure payment security and product quality.
  • Ready-to-Ship Items: Our signature kurtas and co-ord sets listed as "Ready-to-Ship" are dispatched within 2-3 business days.
  • Made-to-Order Items: Customized ensembles or boutique suits require a dedicated production time of 7-10 business days before they are shipped.
  • Dispatch Days: We ship from Monday to Saturday. Orders placed on Sundays or Public Holidays will be processed on the next business day.

2. Shipping Charges (Domestic - India)

We partner with leading couriers like BlueDart, Delhivery, and Xpressbees to provide reliable service.

  • Standard Shipping: A flat rate of ₹99 is applicable on all domestic orders below ₹1,999.
  • Free Shipping: We are pleased to offer Free Shipping on all domestic prepaid orders over ₹1,999.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): COD is available for most pin codes for a non-refundable service fee of ₹70.

3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Timelines are calculated from the date of dispatch:

  • Metro Cities: 3-5 business days.
  • Rest of India: 5-8 business days.
  • International Shipping: 10-15 business days (Shipping rates calculated at checkout based on weight and destination).
  • Tracking: A tracking link will be sent via SMS and Email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

4. Delivery Issues & Damage Claims

  • Unboxing Video: To protect your purchase, an unboxing video is mandatory for any claims regarding missing items or damage during transit. Claims without a video cannot be processed.
  • Incorrect Address: We are not liable for delays caused by incomplete addresses. If a package is returned to us, a re-shipping fee will apply.
  • Non-Acceptance: If a COD order is refused at the doorstep more than twice, the customer may be barred from future COD privileges.

5. International Customs & Duties

For international orders, please note that Custom Duties, Import Taxes, or VAT levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer. These are not included in our shipping fee.
